The product is grown from the Classic Lawn seed mix. Turf appearance will still be generally good but the product will not have met our quality checks for Classic Lawn. Budget Lawn is not always available, so check for availability.

Screened Topsoil

Tolleshunt Turf Farms are specialist lawn turf suppliers and garden turf and topsoil suppliersWhen turfing, you need at least 150mm (6") of good quality topsoil. You may already have this in your garden in which case you don't need to add any more. However, in some cases it is necessary to add or replace topsoil to give your new lawn the best possible start.
Our Screened Topsoil is blended from some of the finest soils in the country and is the perfect turf-laying medium. It is a stone free sandy loam that has been screened to ensure fineness and ease of working and comes into its own where soil quality is poor. It is also perfect for flowerbeds. Screened Topsoil is sold in tonne bags - 120cm x 120cm x 120cm (4ft x 4ft x 4ft).
